Hasbro's TV channel The Hub is set to air the animated series GI Joe: Sigma 6 later this year.
GI Joe: Sigma 6 - and not GI Joe: 6 Sigma, which saw the team infiltrating a retreat for corporate managers* - was the animated show created to tie-in with the 6'' incarnation of the toy line and ran for a single season. As The Hub appears to have aired all of GI Joe: A Real American Hero's first season at least fifty six times and they declined to put a second season of Renegades into production, it seems the channel is exploring new avenues to keep the brand in the public eye, presumably due to GI Joe: Retaliation being pushed back until next year.
