DC's time-travelling superhero Booster Gold could be coming to the small-screen, courtesy of The SyFy Channel.
Created by Dan Jurgens, Booster Gold made his inaugural appearance in his self-titled comicbook in 1986. A time-traveler from the future, Booster Gold uses advanced technology and foreknowledge of the 20th (and 21st) century to become a super-powered crime fighter. Although considered something of a joke by the ''regular'' superheroes due to his cocky attitude and shameless self-promotion, Booster Gold has proven his worth on numerous occasions, even becoming a member of the Justice League.
Now SyFy is planning to bring the quirky hero to the small screen. Helmed by Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, an hour-long pilot for an ongoing show is currently in development, with Kreisman providing the script.
No word yet on casting or an air date but we'll bring you more when we have it.
