Although The Dark Knight Rises is set to be the final feature from Writer/Director/Producer Christopher Nolan, the head of Warner Bros, Jeff Rabinov has stated that the Batman franchise will continue with a new creative team at the helm - according to Collider.com. Interestingly, Nolan and wife/Co-Producer Emma Thomas are set to remain on-board as Executive Producers on the new series.
This Batman reboot is part of Warner Bros' plan to release Justice League, their - and DC's - counterpart to the upcoming Marvel Avengers ''super-movie.'' Scripts are currently in development for Flash, Aquaman and Wonder Woman features (the latter being an independent entity from the proposed TV show), with a view to the characters appearing together with Superman, Batman and the Green Lantern in the team-based movie, scheduled for release in 2013.

Hmm will have to see how this all turns out for Warner and DC Comics.
