It seems - at least according to Big Bad Toy Store - that the upcoming Waves 3 and 4 of the GI Joe: Pursuit of Cobra figures may have had their release dates swapped...
In his regular email update, Joel from Big Bad Toy Store stated that the store is expecting a container from Hasbro to arrive on the 20th (today) and ''the new wave of GI Joe 3.75'' figures will be in it!''
Joel then goes on to list the expected figures as ''Temple Guardian Snake Eyes, Crazy Legs, Croc Master, an Iron Grenadier, a Viper and a Rock Viper.'' For those who don't keep up with the Joe releases, those figures were originally intended to be part of Wave 4.
The comment ends with the statement ''Wave 03 and more Wave 04 are scheduled to arrive in May!''
So there you have it: start scouring the shelves now for the Wave 4 figures and be ready for Wave 3 in May...
UPDATE: Sightings of the 2011 Wave 4 figures have been confirmed at a Toys R Us in the San Diego area, with an update at the HISS Tank Forums showing an image of the figures in-hand. Good hunting!

It will be an easy 3 months before any of wave three or four show up in my area.

ReplyDeleteTrue Iok but i have yet to find that city strike Destro w/case of money or Shadow Stalker. Even a QuickKick or a Shipwreck would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Destro and Shadow Stalker got snapped-up pretty quick. As for Shipwreck, I keep finding a lot of RoC figures but he - like Agent Helix - is never among them. And Quickkick was a TRU exclusive, which makes him doubly-difficult to find! So many shiny things!
