Last month we reported on the Cthulhu from L.Designs, a series of Super-Deformed-style cute minifigs. Now Luke of L.Designs has revealed his latest creation, Cthulhu 2.0.
A number of shots in this post at the Imperfecz blog show the pre-production test pull of the figure from a variety of angles. Although no longer sporting Super-Deformed-style proportions, this new figure is a more detailed sculpt and reminds me of a Battle Beast or Gormiti - which is a definite plus in my books.
These early test pulls - of which there are only three - will be sold either through Ebay or a board auction at littlerubberguys.com.
UPDATE: Luke has posted more details about the auction.

The dark lord (no, not Voldemort!) has never looked better! My keen memory of 80's toys tell me that it has a Battle Beasts base. Two separate Battle Beasts, the shark and the bat. Looking forward to this when it comes out!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it'll be cool to see the final version and colourways.
