In the run-up to the premiere of the 2011 re-imagining of the Thundercats animated show, cartoon channel Boomerang is dedicating part of this weekend's scheduling to re-runs of the original series.
Starting at Noon on Saturday, fans of the show can enjoy a four-hour segment of widdly-woo metal guitars, swishy animation and 80s classic cartoon morality. The fun continues on Sunday at 10 AM, when Boomerang airs the second four-hour slot.
This is all in the run-up to the show receiving a regular slot on Boomerang, with an episode airing every Monday, starting on the 18th at 5PM EST.
