Just days after the D23 expo comes the news that Disney has released Marvel's marketing department.
As reported by Deadline - via Marvelous News - EVP of Marketing for Marvel's LA Studio Dana Precious, VP of Worldwide Marketing Jeffery Stewart and Manager of Worldwide Marketing Jodi Miller have all been released following a shake-up ordered by Disney bosses.
The news comes on the heels of Disney's D23 event, at which the Marvel Marketing team presented a variety of Avengers-themed events, press junkets and screenings. The marketing of The Avengers - as well as all future Marvel movies - will now be handled by Disney's own marketing team.
I'm thinking this isn't good news for Marvel fans...
