If you think Mattel - with its slew of online-only collector clubs and offers - has given-up on retail, think again.
The toy giant recently updated their Facebook page with exciting news about their latest DC Universe-themed promotion. From the 28th of August to the 3rd of September (basically, all this week) the Young Justice 4 1/4'' basic figures are all buy one, get one free at Toys R Us.
They're also keen to stress that the DC Universe aisle end-capping that's been predominant in most Wal-Mart stores will be coming to an end soon and urge collectors to take advantage of their accessibility. I'm not entirely sold on the last part, to be honest, as it's not exactly difficult to find the DC Universe figures when they're on the regular pegs. Unless Mattel believe we're all Mart-cart-riding hambeasts who can't actually fit down the toy aisles...
