Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Cactus of the Forest Tribe from the new line of Gormiti figures, Gormiti Luxion.
As reported at Toypedia (a site any fan of small-scale mini-figures should be checking out), the new line focuses on glow-in-the-dark figures, with 29 of the 34 new figures featuring this effect. Although the line is launching this month in Europe, there's no word on whether we'll see the figures in the US but here's hoping we do, as - with a bit of smart marketing and decent distribution - the Gormiti line could be the new Monster In My Pocket.
Sadly Gormiti has seen US releases before and simply bombed sad fact was the prices were FAR too high for minis 6.99-8.99 for a 2 pack, and when you have trash pack and Gogo's to compete with those prices wouldn't fly.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I also don't get why they sell them in those packs. In Europe/UK they're sold blind-bagged as single figures for about $1.50, which is a pretty cool deal...
