OK, so some of these toys have already been spotted on shelves and a few look to be re-issues of previously-seen toys but it looks as if the Marvel's The Avengers official tie-in line still has a few secrets to reveal...
Vehicles
Of the numerous vehicles in the line, the Quinjet and the Firestrike Assault Jet are the most interesting. Whilst the former appears to be a new mould (although rumours abound that this is based on a cancelled GI Joe vehicle) the Firestrike Assault Jet is a repaint of a previously-released Captain America: The First Avenger vehicle.
Interestingly, there are also a line of ''Mech''-style armoured suit/vehicles, two of which are featured below, including the Iron Man suit that bears a striking resemblance to the Hulkbuster Armor.
The 3 3/4'' scale figure line appears - like the Iron Man 2 and Captain America: The First Avenger toy lines - to feature three sub-lines in the form of Movie, Comic and Concept Series toys.
These toys are currently available to pre-order from Toys R Us Canada's website, ahead of their release later next month.
Thanks to Marvelous News for the original spot.
Hmmm not too bad at all but i really want to see these in person and look at the paints on them. I might consider collecting for this line.
ReplyDeleteAs I say, the vehicles look more interesting to me, personally. I'm expecting more sub-standard, cheaply made cash-ins with the figures, to be honest!
DeleteYeah it's easier for Hasbro to "re-hash" things for this line which i can understand them doing from a cost stand point. Am thing what will happen is i will pick these up once they make it to TJ Maxx if i take a liken to them and the price is right.
DeleteHaha! Yeah, I've seen a few of the Captain America: TFA vehicles in Ross already...
DeleteThese figures are out Iok! Check my blog for a quick snap shot i took of them. I saw 3 Ironman figures along with Thor,Hulk and Cap.
ReplyDeleteI knew some of them were already out (we've covered them already) but I'll go check it out!
