It seems that a member of the cast from the upcoming Marvel's The Avengers may have let-slip with what could be the biggest spoiler yet...
Obviously, this article contains spoilers.
Bleeding Cool reports that Jenny Agutter - of An American Werewolf In London, Walkabout and, erm, The Railway Children fame - has signed-up to appear in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Marvel's super-team comicbook, The Avengers.
But awesome as that is, it's not the spoiler.
In an interview with British TV listings magazine, The Radio Times, Agutter discusses working on such a big production and comments:
I’m sworn to secrecy! I wasn’t allowed a script until I got there, and when I did I felt like a complete child being on big sets and a huge parking lot full of Winnebagos.
She does let slip that two of these housed Spider-Man and Iron Man; we suspect Agutter won’t able to avoid sci-fi conventions for much longer.
To reiterate:
''two of these housed Spider-Man and Iron Man.''
This raises three possibilities:
- Agutter is referring to the fact that the Winnebagos were previously used on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man.
- She's getting her superheroes mixed-up and mistakenly identified one of the movie's characters as Spider-Man.
- Spider-Man is to make a cameo in The Avengers.
Rumour mill overload in 3... 2... 1.
