It was a little bit of unfortunate timing on the part of Marvel when they chose Friday - or ''OMG! NEW GI JOE TOYS!!! Day'' as it became known at That Figures - to showcase the upcoming Marvel's The Avengers Minimates and Select toy lines.
The Minimates line-up features - as seen below - movie versions of Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Black Widow and Loki.
Given that there's an even number of figures in this first wave it's probably safe to assume that they'll be released in the usual Minimates two-figure pack format.
We also got our first look at the Marvel Select Hulk, along with a couple of shots of the previously-seen Hawkeye and Iron Man (Mark VI Armor, for those keeping tabs.)
No word on when these toys will be landing at retail but it's probably safe to assume that we'll be seeing them in the usual outlets ahead of the movie's release this Summer.
I like the Select Iron-Man myself.
