Sometimes it's the little things that count. Take for example, the costume sported by a comicbook hero when he (or she) is re-interpreted for another medium. We can accept changes for budgetary or even practical reasons but when a TV adaptation radically changes something simply for the sake of changing it, it's a surefire way to alienate and annoy the fanbase.
Thankfully - as the above image shows - The CW seems to have realized this and looks to to be rectifying the oversight(?) seen in the earlier Arrow promos in which their small-screen version of Green Arrow didn't sport his customary domino mask. Now all we need is his pointy beard, twiddly mustache and little hat...
