Diamond Select Toys has just released the latest in-pack shots of their upcoming Universal Select Retro Monster action figures. And they look awesome!
The two-figure wave features Mego-like renditions of the Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth and Lon Chaney's iconic Phantom from The Phantom of the Opera.
I don't know if it's down to the original character design or if DST has just really upped their game but either way, I have to say these two figures are some of the best-looking toys I've seen in the line. You can check them out for yourself (I know I will be) when they land at retail this October - or better yet, pre-order them right now from Entertainment Earth!
