Mattel has just released a new gallery of images showcasing the all-new, pop art-tastic line of Star Trek-themed Hot Wheels cars.
Set to hit retail this March, the line-up features the Enterprise's iconic bridge crew (although it seems Chekov didn't get the memo) adorning a range of suitably ultra-retro vehicles.

Spock, 1959 Chevy Delivery |

Uhura, 1988 Jeep Wagoneer |
I have to confess that I'm not a Hot Wheels fan but that super-retro card art is worth the asking price alone. Be sure to check your local store next month.
Love the card art and would buy them for that alone.
ReplyDeleteThat art style is awesome.
DeleteOh, from the title I was hoping they would be cars meant to represent Star Trek people and items, similar to the DC Universe hot wheels that are unique sculpts made for that character.
ReplyDeleteNo joke about the card art; though, it's very cool.
I think the art is my favorite thing about them.
