Warpo's Legends of Cthulhu Kickstarter campaign has been an enormous success. But the best is yet to come...
The company has revealed images of the previously teaser-only stretch goals, which will be unlocked if (or more likely when) the funding hits the $140,000 and $200,000 mark. And if you're a fan of Lovecraft and his work, then you won't want to miss out on these amazing figures.
At the $140,000 point, a figure of the man himself, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, will be unlocked.
As you can probably see, the figure is based upon the core Professor character but features a new head sculpt and comes with what appears to be Lovecraft's equally famous creation, a copy of The Necronomicon.
And at $200,000 the insanity comes home with this, a TWELVE INCH TALL figure of the Greatest of the Old Ones himself, Cthulhu.
As the above concept sketch shows, the 12'' Cthulhu would tower over the other figures in the line yet retain the same level of retro-detail and awesome vintage-style articulation.
The Kickstarter fund currently sits at over $105,000, a sum it's reached in around half its allotted time, so there's certainly still a chance that the company could indeed reach these goals - especially when people see just how awesome the 12'' Cthulhu could be!

Yeah, the 12'' Cthulhu is an awesome idea. It reminds me of the Clash of the Titans Kraken. Which is probably the idea.
