FAN ARTICLE: GI Joe's Baroness by David H.

Knowing my love of GI Joes, David H. was kind enough to produce this specially-themed piece, depicting the GI Joe team's nemesis, The Baroness, in all her evil glory.

David is a pretty talented guy, especially as this drawing produced - as he informed me - whilst he was having dinner and watching TV! Multitasking and drawing, two things I can't do...

If you're an artist with a toy-themed piece of art you'd like to see featured in and upcoming Fan Article, then please feel free to email your submissions to us with your on-screen credit, any background or extra information you'd like to share on the image and any links to your other works you'd like to include.

  2. well Aries0083, according to Iok as i understand it you can submit fan art from any toy line rather it was, or wasn't made into a comic book and or cartoon. but if it's a toy line that came from a cartoon or comic book series that might be another story. but, if it's a toy line that came from a cartoon or comic book that sucked then i believe you will not be allowed to submit anything. same goes if it's a toy line that started as a cartoon and or comic book that also sucked. so that pretty much means any fan art from the Silverhawks, Chase and the Wheeled Warriors, Centurions, Sectars,Visionaries, Defenders of the Earth, Bionic Six, Captain Planet, Spiral Zone, Wind Raiders will not be considered. there's probably others that should be included to that list but their not coming to me right now.
see, it's as simple as that Aries0083. looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

  3. The Fan Article section is intended for artwork, custom figures, sculptures, photos or any other visual inspired-by ANY toy or toy line.

Mostly it's about the featured artist's personal interpretation of the toy, so whether another artist (or group) has created a take on the toy that is good or bad matters not (and wouldn't anyway, as good and bad are just a matter of perspective.)

I look forward to seeing your work, Aries!
