Next month - April 9th and 10th to be precise - sees the KAPOW! Comic Con taking place in London, England.
A veritable who's who of International comicbook talent will be in attendance, including John Romita Jr, Frank Quietly, Dave Gibbons, Mark Millar, Brian Hitch, Kev O'Neill, Brian Bolland, David Lloyd, Pat Mills and... well, the list goes on.
There are also vendor tables, lectures, Panels and the inaugural Stan Lee Awards, which Stan himself - who is also hosting the event - describes as ''a fantastic platform to reward the cream of comic book talent.''
Tickets are a very reasonable 25.50 GBP for the entire weekend, or 14.30 GBP for a single-day pass. There's also a Comic Creators Charity Lunch with a number of luminaries from the world of comicbooks, priced at 300 GBP. Please note that tickets are not available at the door and must be purchased in advance.
And if you happen to be in attendance, check out Artist's Alley, Table 104, where you'll find my friend and former colleague Paul Davidson (X-Men, Nova, New Mutants) signing and selling limited edition prints and notebooks.
