Go Ninja, Go Ninja Go!
Paramount has approached the writing duo of Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec to pen the Michael Bay-produced reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie franchise.
Applebaum and Nemec are the writers who previously wowed Paramount with their script for the upcoming Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the studio are hoping they can work their same magic on the green-skinned pubescent reptile Martial Artists. The pair's writing credentials include a number of TV shows, including Alias, She Spies and Martial Law, so they certainly have a background in action-based drama.
No word yet on when filming will start, let alone a release date, or whether Vanilla Ice will be making a cameo but we'll certainly keep you posted.
