It appears that Hasbro is releasing a limited run of Captain America: The First Avenger variant figures.
As reported by Toy Ark, two recent Ebay auctions included new variant figures from the Movie Series, which you can see here.
The first shows a HYDRA Armored Soldier sporting a colour-scheme more akin to that seen in the comicbooks. Unlike the regular Movie Series Soldier - who sports a grey/black uniform similar to that worn by the Red Skull - this figure is clad in green with yellow accessories.
The second is a variant Red Skull, again wearing a more comicbook-like uniform, complete with green tunic and white gloves.
It's frustrating to see - if these are final production figures - that Hasbro is releasing these comicbook versions of the characters as limited-run variants. Given the Captain America: The First Avenger range has a Comic Series line, surely it would make more sense to simply release them as ''regular'' figures in that sub-line...
