We brought you the news earlier this year that the Kickstarter-funded toy line, Rise of the Beasts, had been withdrawn and then postponed (read the whole thing here.) Now it seems the project is steaming ahead, although not without new issues.
As reported at Man-E-Toys, the initial shots sent from the China production facility indicated that the Gold Lion's limb proportions were mismatched to his body scale and, as a result, a new 3D print has been prepared, which will be reproduced and shipped over to China so production can resume.
The line-up also includes a smaller-scaled Rhino-man and an as-yet-unnamed second ''sidekick'' character. Expect to see more soon.
