As you may have gathered from our earlier Mutant Mania minifigure Review, I'm a sucker for a good little monster. And sadly, whilst Moose Toys' offering may not quite have satisfied my craving for a creepy and kooky Keshi-style critter, it looks as if I may be able to get that fix elsewhere, courtesy of Meadowknight Creations and their new line of figures, AMP - Amusing Mini Paranormals.
The Amusing Mini Paranormals are a line of resin figures, ''inspired by toy lines from the 1980's and 90's,'' which - as fans of minifigures know - were the prime decades for such awesome collectible toys as MUSCLE Men, Fistful of Power and Monster in my Pocket.
Designed, sculpted and cast by Angela Pileggi, each of the AMPs feature awesome detailing, great character gags (such as the above Big Rad Wolf, who is totally rocking his 80s vibe) and stand at around 1'' tall, with each of the figures being cast from ''hardwood floor''-proof resin. A variety of colorways are available, including special edition glow-in-the-dark and temperature-triggered color changing variants for those looking to add a little extra oomph to their figures. Very cool!
The first wave of Amusing Mini Paranormals is available now at the Meadowknight Creations Store and you can see more of these awesome-looking figures at their Facebook Page.
