  2. I know. I wish Halfbad could do some kind of production run on them. I miss little dudes like this.

  4. MUSCLES! these things were a bit of a fad in the 80s just like Garbage Pale Kids trading cards. i used to have several myself but i have absolutely no idea what ever happened to them all. i still have a photo that my dad took of me at a Gemco store (the Target or Wallmart of it's time)of me looking at some MUSCLE packages. in the photo you can see on the shelves some of the early G.I.Joe vehicles. the tank in particular i think it was called "the mauler" or something?

  5. I had a few MUSCLE figures but I was REALLY into Monster in my Pocket, even though I was probably about 19 or so when they came out. :)

Not sure about the GI Joe vehicle...

  6. Thanks guys!

I have been asked to mold up some of these, but I like to keep these runs "one of a kind". Each figure is made by hand, kitbashed, and then hand painted and sealed.

I think it means more than just mass producing them. We have done our Fruit Fighter line, you can find it on our blog here. www.halfbadtoyz.com

Just click on through to the shop.

So sadly, I don't forsee ever mass producing them. It makes them more special in my eyes.

  7. No worries - I understand totally where you're coming from and for people who do buy them, you're right, it makes them even more special.

I just think there's a massive hole in the market right now for a Western Keshi-style monster toy. I know I'd certainly buy them!

  8. I loved those things. I've got the whole first series in a jar on our bookshelf at home. I'd love to see somebody do another series like these.

  9. I agree. There's a definite gap in the market and were I skilled enough, I'd be trying to capitalise on it.
