We saw some early work-in-progress shots of it a week or so ago, but Halfbad Toyz has posted the first production shots of their upcoming Smash Tokyo Toys collaboration, the Seismic Centurion.
The shots show the Seismic Centurion - a six-inch figure with two points of articulation - in a transparent-and-glitter-green, cast by Smash Tokyo Toys. Under the agreement between the two toymakers, Smash Tokyo toys will be producing such clear colourways with Halfbad Toyz producing solid, glow-in-the-dark and fully-painted versions.
We're also told the release will be ''insanely limited'' numbers-wise.
You can check it out for yourself at Halfbad Toyz or visit the Smash Tokyo Toys Facebook page.
Was just looking at this figure and thought that it could be colored in a way to look like Mazinger Z or one of the other classic giant robots.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's definitely got that kind of vibe going on with it. I really dig it.
ReplyDeleteYeah they told me over at half-Bad Toys that they can indeed do paints like those and will have some new ones posted in a few weeks of what they will be offering. : )
ReplyDeleteSounds cool!
