We've been following the progress of Roboid for a while now but today we can bring you details of the Biotron homage's definitive release date, price-point and also some very cool pictures of the finished toy.
In a post over at the Micronauts Homeworld Blog, Gold Dober - the creator of Roboid - has provided full details on the sale of this amazing-looking piece of work.
You can check out the post for yourself (and I advise you do, as there's a lot to read there!) but the basic details are as follows: Roboid is limited to just seventeen pieces, only ten of which will be on sale to the general public. The figure - which comes fully boxed and features artwork by previous Fan Article contributor, Argonaut X (AKA Alexis Dyer) - retails at $90, plus shipping and any PayPal fees associated with the purchase. In a very generous gesture on his part, Gold Dober is also offering a 90 day warranty with each figure and will replace any parts that are damaged during that time.
Roboid is set to go on sale on the 7th of May 2011 at Noon EST.
