NEWS: Tomb Raider Movie Reboot & Writers Attached

Square-Enix nee Core Design heroine Lara Croft, Tomb Raider, is set for a new big screen outing.

The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop, stating that GK films secured the rights to the videogame-to-movie screen character a couple of months ago and hopes to launch a new franchise based around the gun-toting archeologist, with the first movie hitting theatres in 2013.

It's also reported that Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus - the duo behind the smash-hit Iron Man - have been brought onboard to write the screenplay.
