Transformers fans must be beside themselves with glee right now. With the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon due later this month, a whole new slew of figures occupying the toy aisle in stores (and pushing out every other toy - or so it seems) and a funky cartoon running on The Hub network, they have good reason to be feeling quite happy.
And now there's another.
British games developer Jagex has announced that the Transformers Massive Multiplayer Online game they've been quietly working on now has an official title. From today, the game will be known as Transformers: Universe. More details are due to be revealed during this year's Botcon (which is going on as we speak), but we've yet to see any updates since the announcement of the game's title.
For those unfamiliar with the Jagex and who may be worried about the license's future should rest assured: Jagex are the brains behind Massive Multiplayer game Runescape, a title that's had over 140 million users and boasts a very impressive 10 million players logging in per day.
