Although it's not due for release until next year, Hasbro has already started work on the tie-in figure line for The Amazing Spider-Man.
Set to debut at the San Diego Comic Con, the Amazing Spider-Man figure incorporates the movie's modifications to the classic costume, including a metallic sheen and eyes that ''have a golden cast to them when catching light in a certain way.''
The figure boasts 20 points of articulation, although looking closely it appears to lack any form of waist joint and no form of ankle-twist, although this could simply be an early prototype (or the joints could just be very well-disguised.)
You can read more about this figure and Hasbro's plans for the tie-in line over at USA Today or - if you happen to be at the SDCC - check him out for yourself at Hasbro's booth from tonight.
You know it doesn't look that bad, I'm interested in how this all plays out now.
ReplyDeleteI'd have liked a waist joint and - as I said - the ankles look a bit limited, but we'll see!
