It's a double-whammy of double-figure goodness for fans of the star-spangled Avenger.
First up, news comes to us that the Captain America-Crossbones Comic Pack set is hitting shelves as we speak.
In a post over at ToysDaily, user Firewalker27 provides a gallery of the two figures, from which it's possible to glean that the included Captain America figure features a matte paint-job and comes with the clip-on style of shield seen with the Wave 1 Captain America: The First Avenger figures, rather than the elastic-strapped shield included with the Gigantic Battles Captain America. The plastic-looking weapons included with the single carded release Crossbones have also been replaced with more lifelike, black plastic accessories.
It's rumoured that the Captain America Comic Packs are Target-exclusive releases, but we've yet to confirm this.
In related news, The ToyArk reports sightings of a previously-unannounced Target-exclusive double-pack, featuring Arctic Assault Captain America and Cosmic Fire Red Skull variant figures.
