As we reported yesterday, Mattel's Infinite Earths Collector Club had only received a 20% uptake.
We can now report that the Matty Collector site is showing an increase in subscriptions, with the number hovering at around the 25% mark. Whether this is in fact due to a surge in subscriptions or whether the site was simply not being updated isn't clear, but either way uptake is clearly still falling well-below expected levels.
Personally I'm still not convinced this isn't simply a clever marketing ploy by Mattel to get more people to ''panic'' subscribe but given the recent comments regarding Club Eternia and their production run cutbacks, it could well be that the Matty Collector clubs simply aren't pulling in the numbers Mattel had hoped for.
