The Invisible Man, yesterday. |
Universal Studios - following their recent remakes of The Wolfman and The Mummy - is now working to bring The Invisible Man back to the big screen.
That's the story at ComicBookMovie.com, where they've picked-up on an interview in which David S. Goyer (of The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel fame) stated that he's attached to the project, which - judging by his statements - seems to not only be under consideration but actually in early pre-production.
Interestingly, Goyer comments that the movie is ''a period film but it's 'period' like Downey's 'Sherlock Holmes''' and ''it's a reinvention of the character in the sort of way that Stephen Sommers exploded 'The Mummy' into a much bigger mythology.''
No word yet on a release date or any other attachments to the movie, but we'll keep you posted.
