Entertainment Weekly reports that TNT has requested a pilot based on the book, Scent of the Missing, which follows the adventures of ''An adrenaline junkie leader of a canine search-and-rescue team [that] assists various law enforcement agencies with her best friend and partner, a golden retriever.”
And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the dog is named McGruff. You know, after the ''take a bite out of crime'' campaign mascot.
It sounds like The Littlest Hobo meets Rizzoli and Isles. Just with more hair and leg humping.
