NBC has announced it's reshuffling the line-up of its Thursday night schedule and it's bad news for two of the network's quirkier comedies.
The Will Arnett-Christina Applegate baby-com Up All Night is moving to the much-coveted post-Office 9:30 PM slot, currently occupied by Whitney, which moves to Wednesday to pair-up with the upcoming Are You There, Chelsea?
Fans of smart comedy will be pleased to hear that NBC has also announced that the Tina Fey-Alec Baldwin satire 30 Rock will return early next year - but it comes at a cost, as the show will now occupy the 8PM slot currently held by Community. And as for Community itself, NBC has announced it will be taking a ''breather'' when the new line-up comes into effect on January 12th. The network has not announced when the show will return.
NBC has yet to announce an air date for MILF Island but given that this new move will probably kill two of its brightest and most critically acclaimed shows, there should be room in their schedule very soon.
