Over the last year or so Lego has launched a pretty aggressive campaign of licensing and new line development. Here's a look at what fans of the original construction-brick-and-mini-figure range can expect to see in the upcoming months, as revealed at the New York Toy Fair.
Monster Fighters is an original in-house concept themed around classic monsters (such as vampires, werewolves, etc) and humans battling with them. Sets revolve around spooky locations and monster transports and the human monster hunter figures and vehicles. I have to say I'm digging that big game hunter guy in the pith helmet...
Fans of Lego Star Wars toys will be pleased to see the line hasn't been forgotten. An assortment of construction sets and mini-figures is set to hit shelves soon, including some rather impressive - and very complex-looking - vehicles.
Lego's first foray into Middle Earth brings us a number of very cool play sets and character-specific figures. I'm certainly digging Gollum and look forward to seeing what else Lego has planned.
Finally - for now - here's Lego's Marvel Superhero line, specifically some of their upcoming Avengers figures and vehicles.

Well you know am already in for the Monster Fighter Sets and am looking forward to the Marvel sets too.
