Given the underwhelming reception the original received, it comes as a surprise to see a sequel to 2007's Ghost Rider. But five years on and here it is. Personally I quite enjoyed the first movie and I'm interested to see if Crank directors Neveldine/Taylor can bring that same hyperkinetic energy and visual flair to proceedings.

Marvelous News has some shots from the upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

The sequel to the 2007 movie sees Nic Cage returning as Johnny Blaze, the former stunt rider-turned-servant of Satan, this time battling the Devil (Ciaran Hinds) as he attempts to take-on human form.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is set for a February 2012 release.
