Jason at Atomic Martians just scored the latest wave of GI Joe 30th Anniversary figures (Wave 3 for those keeping count) and here's the first of his reviews, featuring (finally!) the return of Scarlett. It's a shame Hasbro has gimped her on the accessories front, as the actual figure looks great.

The early reviews at General Joe's continue with a double-whammy of GI Joe: Renegades Scarlett and Ripcord goodness.

Sadly it seems as if the positive strides made on the equipment front with Law & Order and Airtight haven't made it to Scarlett's arsenal (again, Hasbro has dropped the previously seen roster of gear in favour of a few ''iconic'' weapons) and Ripcord appears to be sporting a NERF gun.

Scarlett first learned Martial Arts from her father and three brothers, who are all Martial Arts instructors. She began her training at age nine and was awarded a black belt at 15. She graduated summa cum laude from two Ivy League universities and went on to excel in training courses at all four branches of the armed forces. The Cobra organization often mistakes her for just a pretty face rather than a member of the elite GI Joe team, which makes her perfect for undercover missions, on which she uses various aliases. She is a naturally gifted pilot who has flown in some of the most advanced military aircraft in the world and is one of the GI Joe team's helicopter pilots.
