Yes, a Space 1999 remake is on the cards. And yes, as you can see from the above promo image (A) the Eagles are still present in some form (awesome!) and (B) the remake will be known as Space 2099 - because by 1999 we still hadn't ended-up living on the moon with robot wives who fed us special space pill dinners while we played Pong in shiny silver jumpsuits. The future totally lied to me.
