Despite being quite horrible, it seems somebody in Hollywood enjoyed the 2001 ''re-imagining'' of the 1960s classic, Planet of the Apes. After all, how else do you explain the recently-announced Rise of the Planet of the Apes?
Appearing to be a remake/''re-imagining'' (there's that word again) of 1972's Conquest of the Planet of the Apes the movie - set for release on August 5th - takes the original's premise (tamed apes rebel against evil humans) whilst replacing the key plot element that made the original entry so great (it's all about Timey-Wimey Wibbly-Wobbly stuff, don't you know) with a story based around bio-research. There'll probably be some kind of ''message'' about that, too.
Anyway, Atomic Martians has the trailer, so head over for all the CGI-apery you can handle.
