We told you last month that - as part of its new schedule shake-up - NBC had cancelled enigmatic scifi mystery drama The Event. However, the show may not be quite as dead and buried as originally thought, according to Deadline, who are reporting that NBC-sister station SyFy are in discussions to resurrect The Event as a mini-series. There's further speculation that if the mini-series is a success then a third season could well be on the cards...
