Following on from Fox killing-off Human Target, ABC canceling No Ordinary Family and V, and both channels only seeming to renew their countless ''talent search'' shows, NBC has waded into the network's combined efforts to kill off genre TV by announcing it will not be renewing The Event. Interestingly, talks are underway to bring the show to ''a different distribution platform.'' That'll be Youtube then.
Law and Order: Los Angeles is also on the chopping block along with The Chase, Outsourced, Perfect Couples, School Pride and America's Next Great Restaurant. So it's not all bad news then.
