Liquid Television is back!
Well, kind of...
Liquid Television began in 1990 as a showcase for the best in independent film-making and animation, featuring a mix of regular and one-off segments. Although focusing predominantly on animated storytelling in such regular slots as Aeon Flux, Liquid Television also included live-action segments, such as the blackly humorous 50s romance comic pastiche, Dog Boy. Over the course of its three seasons, Liquid television was also the launching pad for such ongoing shows as The Head and Beavis & Butthead.
Segments of the MTV-aired show, which highlighted the best in contemporary animation and episodic storytelling, are available to view online now at the Liquid Television website, alongside new animations and creations created with the same aesthetic and philosophy as the originals.
