VIDEO VIEW: Avengers Japanese Trailer

I have to admit, the earlier trailers for Marvel's The Avengers left me a little cold. I'm really not sure why. But having watched this new Japanese trailer, I'm actually more interested. Maybe it's because there's a little more interplay between the characters here or maybe it's the presence of some rather more impressive action. Who knows? Whatever the reason though, I have to say that my excitement level has just jumped a little.

The Avengers lands in theaters this May.

To be honest, it all seemed a little run-of-the-mill (are we really that jaded now?) until the post-title tag, in which... well, just make sure you keep watching, as it's probably the best part of the trailer.

And just for fun, here's the UK version of the trailer, sporting the new - and very clunky - Marvel Avengers Assemble title.

There's not a great deal to see here - as is usually the way with ET's ''so how did you - ooh look, a squirrel!'' -style of reporting - but fans will I'm sure enjoy this brief on-set report.
