NEWS: 1943: Custom Glyos Gobon from Halfbad Toyz

Halfbad Toyz don't just make their own (rather excellent) toys. They're also known for their custom work and the latest example of this is 1943, a customised Glyos Gobon figure.

An update at the Halfbad Toyz site features a super-cool gallery of this funky custom, along with the potential prospect of more. No word yet on if/when this custom piece will be on sale, but you can see more for yourself over at Halfbad Toyz.

NEWS: New Glyos Wave ''Coming Thursday''

Matt Doughty of Onell Design has released more details - along with some stunning pictures - of the new wave of Glyos figures.

According to Matt's post on the Glyos Transmission Web Log, Onell Design are ''on track for a Thursday launch this week.''  No details of a time are available yet but if past experience is anything to go by, I'd anticipate a drop-time somewhere between 8 and 9 PM EST (that's GMT -5 for non-US visitors!)

Although this is a full production run of figures (so numbers should be plentiful) it's worth noting that this is also the first wave to include the amazing new Axis Joints and that demand for them - and the glow-in-the-dark and clear figures also in this release - will be high, so don't dally when it comes to getting your orders in.

NEWS: New Custom Corp Release from Onell Design

During the Old War, many horrible weapons of mass destruction were created and put to use, bringing the entire Glyos System to the brink of absolute devastation. Even the great symbol of peace, the mighty Gobon Gendrone, was corrupted by the desperate hands of aggression. Many Gobons tried to resist their new missions, but in the end they each carried out their orders with deadly efficiency.

Only the appearance of an ancient enemy, the Villser, was able to restore unity, as all of Glyos rallied to stop the Villser threat...

Head over now to Onell Design to find out more about this new release, set to go on sale this Thursday.  But be warned: the Custom Corps always release in limited numbers and with all the good press Glyos and Onell Design have garnered recently, you can bet they'll be gone fast.

UPDATE: Matt has announced that the custom Gobons will retail at $35 and should be available for sale from 9 PM EST tonight.  Good hunting!
