WEEKLY ANALYSIS: Week Ending January 24th

It's time once more to delve into the That Figures stats and take a look at what you're looking at!

Top Content
The Marvel-madness continues again for a third week...

1. REVIEW: Marvel Universe's Modular Armor Iron Man
No change at the top-spot for one of Hasbro's best Marvel Universe toys.

Again, Iron Man has a strong-showing in the Keyword Searches (below) and this figure's recent appearance on store shelves add-up to our most-viewed page.

2. NEWS: Upcoming Marvel Universe Figures
Creeping back to the Number Two spot is our look ahead (well, it was ahead at the time!) to the upcoming releases from Hasbro.

Hopefully this newer Feature will soon overtake this now-outdated piece.

3. Marvel Universe's Yellowjacket
A new entry at Number Three for Hasbro's size- and identity - shifting hero, Yellowjacket.

Although a slightly-disappointing figure, he's appeared at Number Three, narrowly pipping the Dark Wolverine/Dark Spider-Man Greatest Battles double-pack at the post. Again the figure's recent release could well account for this Review's popularity.

Sources and Searches
The week's top three most popular searches this week actually has four entries, with two joint-third places:

1. That-Figures.Blogspot
2. Modular Armor Iron Man Figure Review
3. Glyos Axis
3. Marvel Universe Team Packs - Original Avengers

Hopefully our lack of a Glyos Axis Joints review wasn't too off-putting for those who stumbled across That Figures! Speaking of That Figures, it's nice to see our site taking the Number One spot in the searches that brought people here. Although you could always just Bookmark the site, guys...!

Anyway, that's it for this week. Oh and as ever, comments and suggestions are welcomed below - if there's anything about the site you'd like to see more of, then please let us know!

  1. Can we get past the fact Marvel Universe is done and Legends will relaunch with plenty of redos and figures never done in Legends that crossed over with 3.75" inch line? Lots of repeat, re-do, bullcrap. Probably even more so than Mattel and DC.

  2. The problem I have with the Legends range is the price-point. Yes, the MU figures are still a couple of dollars over the price of a GI Joe (or even the Iron Man 2 line) but from what I've seen, you're looking at twice the price.

  3. All I have to say is that toys are getting smaller but the price are getting higher. Doesn't make sense tho. You have a very good toy blog btw. :)

  4. Exactly. I remember Star Wars toys used to be 99p (about $1.50)...

And thanks for the feedback! Welcome aboard!
