It seems the theme of the first wave of GI Joe: Retaliation figures is ''nice figure, toy-like accessories.'' Still, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new toys when they land at retail in a couple of months.
Time to start building a new display case, methinks.
I love the packaging the extra heads and the Zartan design is o.k. in a "battle armor" sort of way,but why the blue weapons?They look like something out of Lanard's "The Corps" line of figures(the weapons not the figure).
ReplyDeleteYeah, the weapons are kind of odd. To be honest, I was thinking of displaying this wave on their own shelf or part of the display case, rather than near/mixed-in with the other Joes. I think that way it'll be a little less obvious that they're more toy-like. I still think they look kind of cool though - and if all else fails, I've got 237904893874293847923487 spare weapons in my case so I can switch them around.
