The new GI Joe ''Basic'' figures have landed at retail in the US.
The first reported sightings began to trickle in late yesterday afternoon, with posters on a number of collector forums stating that they'd spotted the figures at Dollar General stores across the country.
The line-up features six of GI Joe's most iconic characters, many of which are depicted in uniforms designed in homage to earlier releases or appearances. Although the figures use the same generic card back and come with limited accessories, unlike the upcoming GI Joe: Retaliation figures, they do include stands.
Each figure retails at $6 plus tax.
