NBC has renewed comedies 30 Rock and Community for a seventh and fourth Season respectively.
As reported at HitFix, a run of 13 new Community episodes has been ordered by NBC, a move that would bring the show's tally close to the magical number of 88 episodes, the minimal amount usually favored for a show to go into syndication. It's also worth noting that this is only an initial 13 episodes and NBC may well back-order additional episodes to complete a full fourth Season and beyond.
30 Rock is also slated to return for its seventh - and final - season. This final run will consist of 13 episodes.
