BBI may not be a company many of you are familiar with but for over a decade they've been producing high-quality, ultra-lifelike military figures in a variety of scales. Due to their level of detail and laser-focus realism, the toys proved hugely popular with the more hardcore collector but haven't really caught the attention of the mass market.
But that's all about to change...
In their latest Facebook Page update, BBI has announced that they're to release (or more accurately re-release, as these figures are repacks of previously released figures) a line of 1:18th scale toys (that's GI Joe size) to the mass market, with the first wave landing at Target stores nationwide next month.
BBI has also announced that the figures, which will be available in single carded and multi-pack assortments, will be priced at ''toy level'' rather than the more expensive ''collector only'' approach the company had previously adopted. Although final prices have not been confirmed, they are aiming to release the five-figure packs at around the $20 mark, making these toys hugely competitive with other figure lines currently available.
We'll be on the lookout for these toys from next month but in the meantime you can learn more over at BBI's Facebook Page.
