NEWS: Cerebragon - Custom Figure From Adam Pratt

Six inches tall and cast from twelve ounces of resin - and fishy brains - Cerebragon, is a one-off, hand-painted custom sculpt release from Adam Pratt. Based on the popular Podiagon figure, Cerebragon features two points of articulation and comes with his own detachable gun accessory.

NEWS: Adam Pratt Interview

Fans of former Halfbad Toyz Head Honcho-turned-solo toy artist Adam Pratt won't want to miss-out on this interview with the man himself at Man-E-Toys.

As well as discussing the Halfbad Toyz days and sharing some info on their past releases (including the origin stories of Skekiltor and Podiagon, neither of which I'd ever seen before), Adam also talks about his upcoming hush-hush collaboration with Vanessa Ramirez plus his favourite toys and artists.

NEWS: Skekiltor Run Coming To An End

Halfbad Toyz has announced that the first figure from their FOEZ line, Skekiltor, is to be retired. As of the end of next week, the Halfbad crew will no longer be producing the toy and although the figure is still available at the store, supplies are limited. So if you want one, you'll need to act fast.

All is not over though for the Mace of Hades, as the guys are promising he'll be back in ''a different form someday.'' My guess is producing the articulated Podiagon has given the Halfbad guys a new insight into toy design and they're going to someday apply the lessons learned to a new, updated Skekiltor...

NEWS: New Podiagon Colourway Drop Tonight!

8PM EST tonight sees Halfbad Toyz launch the second wave of Podiagon colourways (DIY and solid variants for those not keeping score) and so with just an hour to go before the launch, we thought we'd drop you a quick reminder to check them out for yourself.

Halfbad Toyz has announced via their Facebook page that the solid colour and DIY Podiagon variants will go on sale tomorrow night (June 17th) at 8PM EST. No word yet on pricing or colourway choices but in the meantime you can check out this awesome updated gallery of Podiagon shots or grab one of the glow in the dark or hand-painted variants for yourself at the Halfbad Toyz store.

NEWS: Win a Box of Toys from Halfbad!

The guys at Halfbad Toyz posted an update today containing some very cool news about their upcoming releases, plans and current their projects. Although you can check it out for yourself, the update confirms that Skekiltor is back in stock (following a minor casting issue that held-up production for a couple of days), that the Smash Tokyo Toys-collaboration Seismic Centurion is almost imminent and also includes a reminder that the exclusive violet glow-in-the-dark Podiagon pre-order ends soon.

They're also offering a box of toys (or should that be ''Toyz?'') to one random blog Follower if they can make it to 100. As of today the number stands at 59, so there's a little way to go but hopefully when word gets out not just of this giveaway but also about how cool the Halfbad Toyz projects are, we'll see that number rise as more people join Halfbad's Army.

We'll bring you more on the Seismic Centurion and Halfbad's other releases when we get it but in the meantime you can read the update for yourself.

NEWS: Skekiltor Shipping Delayed

It seems as if Halfbad Toyz' super-cool Skekiltor has run into a production problem. A short post over at the Halfbad Toyz blog (and a subsequent comment below) explains that the eye casting has been ''wonky'' due to the mold burning out and the Halfbad crew will be fixing this before shipping any additional figures. Thankfully the fixes should be made by later this evening and then casting will be back on-track.

And apologies to all at Halfbad Toyz for my earlier misreporting of the situation!
