The soon-to-be-available Figure Subscription Service from the GI Joe Collectors' Club keeps on rolling toward awesome with the announcement that figure number eleven is vehicle specialist Courtney ''Cover Girl'' Krieger.

Collectors may be aware that Cover Girl was previously released as part of the Rise of Cobra movie tie-in line but - thanks to the changes made to the character for the movie - she bore little similarity to the real Courtney Krieger, something this figure finally rectifies.

He may seem an odd choice (and initially looks a little too similar to the already-seen Grunt) given how obscure a character he is but part of the Club's mission is to bring collectors characters that wouldn't normally be considered viable at retail.

The GI Joe Collectors' Club has released the first images of the latest addition to the subscriber-only line-up of figures for 2011-2012. From the short-lived GI Joe Extreme comes the  Leader of S.K.A.R., Iron Klaw.

Iron Klaw will be available only to those members of the GI Joe Collectors' Club who opt-in for the additional Figure Subscription Service and joins Grunt, Footloose, Dial-Tone, the Nano BAT, Quarrel and Dice in the club-exclusive roster of figures set to be released over the next year.

NEWS: GI Joe Collectors' Club Unveils Dice

The GI Joe Collectors' Club has revealed the latest addition to their subscriber-only roster of figures in the form of Cobra Ninja Dice.

The figure - which appears to use a number of parts from the previously-released comic pack Storm Shadow and later ''Temple Guardian'' Snake Eyes - will be released on a 25th Anniversary-style blister card and is a Club exclusive.

NEWS: GI Joe Collectors' Club Topside - Head Shot

Here's a close-up of the recently-announced GI Joe Collectors' Club-exclusive figure, Topside.

I have to admit that whilst I'm not a fan of the figure's day-glo outfit and 25th Anniversary-style look, this head sculpt is pretty awesome and for me evokes memories of the bearded Action Man/Adventure Team GI Joe 12'' toys. Which is a good thing in my book.

NEWS: GI Joe Collectors' Club Topside

As recently revealed by the GI Joe Collectors' Club, the third 2011-2012 subscription figure is naval security expert, Topside. Topside will join the previously-announced Quarrel (the European repaint of Scarlett) and the Nano BAT (a day-glo take on the 25th Anniversary's mechanical menace.)

I'm personally a little saddened to see the club going for a more 25th Anniversary-style of figures but I'm sure there are plenty of fans who'll be pleased to see the direction the club is taking.
